You know how sometimes, a book just doesn't do it for you...The Hunting Party by Lucy Foley was one of those books for me. Now, I really shouldn't be surprised, as The Guest List was far from a favorite when I read it, but I decided to give her another chance. Unfortunately, this will be the last chance I give...

There were too many characters, too many storylines to keep track of, and I found myself rolling my eyes and just skimming to finish. I hate doing that, and would've rather just given up, but part of me wanted to see if things would turn around for me with the story. Unfortunately, they did not. I can't even begin to give you any sort of synopsis for this book, as literally none of the plot points stuck with me. I'm very disappointed in this book, but more so disappointed in myself for "wasting" so much time trying to push through. This was a very solid 2 out of 5 stars for me.
