March is always a fun month for me. Not only does my birthday fall in March, but we end up celebrating 11 birthdays this month in my family! Between all these celebrations, I was able to dive into 7 books!

You'll Miss Me When I'm Gone by Rachel Lynn Solomon started off the month with a BANG! I was flipping through my many TBR titles, and I saw some key words that caused me to not even think twice! I love seeing words related to my Jewish heritage, and this book did not disappoint! You'll Miss Me When I'm Gone was my first 5 star read for March, and it made me want to look into other books by Rachel Lynn Solomon. The story was fun, fast paced, and I couldn't put it down!

Next on my list was This is How it Always Is by Laurie Frankel. I picked up this book in my first BookOutlet order, and just knew that I had to read it! I am very compassionate toward the LGBTQ+ community, and this book really opened my eyes into the world of a young Transgendered child and the struggles his family endured as she struggled to find her true self. I loved this story, and already recommended it to one of my friends! I gave this book 5 out of 5 stars, keeping March at a high as the month started!

To say I was excited when I received an ARC of Kristin Harmel's newest novel, The Forest of Vanishing Stars, would be a major understatement. I actually started to cry! I knew I was in for an emotional roller coaster before I even started reading it. My ONLY complaint about this book was that I was given a Kindle version, and I hate reading on a kindle. I cannot wait to get my hard copy in July, and of course I gave this book a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars! Kristin Harmel is a true gem!

Becoming Mrs. Lewis was the first book I had read by Patti Callahan, and it definitely won't be my last. I loved the story, despite it slow build. It was different from anything I had read previously, and I was totally captivated by the story. The characters were well-developed, and the story kept moving, once it got over that beginning hump. I cannot wait to read other books by Patti Callahan, especially her newest novel, Surviving Savannah. This book got 4 out of 5 stars from me!

While I was slightly disappointed by this book, The Midnight Library by Matt Haig was definitely an interesting one. The thought that I can spend my afterlife in a library is my version of heaven. However, I did find the story to be repetitive and I didn't care so much for the formatting of the book. I think the author had a good idea, but the execution wasn't quite what I had hoped for. The characters felt underdeveloped and the non-linear storyline was too hard to follow. I gave this book 3 out of 5 stars.

The Lost Apothecary by Sarah Penner was my second venture into Historical Fiction Fantasy and I loved it! The cover of the book was beyond beautiful, and the insides were filled with equal beauty. I did find the end of the book a tad rushed, but it was the only downfall for the book for me. I really hope to read more books like this in the future, and sometimes, I wish I can find an apothecary like this one (wink wink). I gave this book 4 out of 5 hard-earned stars!

I ended my month with Stolen by Lucy Christopher. The kidnapping plot was very captivating to me, and I could feel the main character's emotions through her words. I was scared at times, sick at others, and hopeful on occasion. My heart beat was irregular while reading, and it made for a very fun read for me. I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a enticing story. I already put more books by Lucy Christopher in my Amazon cart! I gave this book 4 out of 5 stars.
March as pretty awesome...and we're only 3 months in. I can't wait to see what other journeys I get to go on this year!
