I had been gifted In Five Years by Rebecca Serle by my Secret Santa from my book club last year. While the book took less than 5 hours to read, it packed a punch that left me feeling all the feelings

Dannie is a lawyer in New York, with the perfect boyfriend. They get engaged on just the night that she had planned to get engaged. Everything was going according to her plans, until she wakes up one day, 5 years in the future, with a different man and a different life. The weirdest experience of her life appeared to be a dream, when she wakes back up in her present day world, until almost 5 years later when this man reappears and turns her world upside down. It just goes to show that no matter how well you plan things, in five years, everything can change, and change isn't always a bad thing.
I truly enjoyed this story, and can see what all the hype was about. I gave this book 5 out of 5 stars.
