Flashpoint - Opinion and Review

I came home from work one day last week and had a special surprise waiting for me! An advanced copy of Flashpoint by Skye Jordan. Not only was my copy really nice to look at, but it was signed! It was also fun to read.

While Flashpoint was different from what I normally read, it was fun to dive into something sexy. My major disappointment with this book was that it just wasn't sexy enough. I was looking forward to a little more smut, but the love story (queue Taylor Swift's re-recording of Love Story (Taylor's Version) playing over and over in my head)...was more prominent than the smut. In my opinion, I wasn't happy about that, given that the cover of the book looked the way it did. However, the book was a quick one to read, and a nice break from some of the other books I've recently finished.

I plan to read more Skye Jordan in the future, and I'll just continue to hope for sexier moments between the characters. I gave this book 3 stars out of 5.
