Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon was another YA book that had been on my TBR for some time now, and one that was written so different than anything I had read before. Chapters were written in unique styles, whether they be spiraled words, handwritten pages from a journal, drawings and charts, or even just like a normal book, but they all told a story of a young girl and a life she had no choice but to live.

Maddy has a disease where she can get sick by exposure to pretty much everything. She lives at home, and only at home, with her mother and her caregiver. Nobody comes to visit unless they pass a grueling health screening and decontamination process. But when a new family moves in next door, she is instantly taken by Olly, the cutest boy she had ever seen. Olly eventually makes his way into Maddie's life after many days and night of chatting online. Maddy decides that life isn't worth it unless she's actually living. This sets off a chain of events that both put her life in jeopardy, but not at the same time. But I refuse to say more.
Read this book. It's a heartwarming story that will give you a new outlook on life and all it has to offer. I gave Everything, Everything 4 out of 5 stars.
